OK, so here's the truth. Those long form sales pages can convert really well IF they're really well designed. The idea is to give people every single thing they want, while also keeping them going down the page. Down Down Down Because these sales pages contain every bit of information they might need to make a difficult purchase decision. And difficult purchasing decisions have lots of things to consider. Like how much is it going to cost? How long is it going to last? What happens if I don't like it? Do I get any bonuses? Are there other people who have used it? What other uses are there for it? See, the more money you're asking people to invest, the more they need to know. And the reason these long form pages work so well is because you're not asking them to do anything but scroll to get what they're looking for. But on another level, if you do it right, you're also telling a story. The story of what their life is going to be like if they buy your thing. You're letting them know it's cool to have questions, and that it's ok to want to have the answers, because buying your thing will make their life better. Anyways, if you think long form pages are worth testing because you have a high touch product, you should read this article. It talks about everything you need to know to make a kick-ass long form landing page. Enjoy. How to Design Kickass Long Form Sales Pages conversionxl.com Know those sales pages that are really, really long? They're great, but they mostly suck. I mean the way they are usually implemented sucks.
